SN87 fact sheet

As of 6 October 2026.

SN87: Proof of Assurance. A Bittensor subnet where independent methods examine permitted evidence of autonomous work and return an Assurance Differential, and validators test what those methods can establish.

The question: The run succeeded. Was it right?

Current limits (please keep these with any claim)

  • Testnet, not mainnet.
  • Provenonce operates the miners today. Outside miners are not enrolled yet.
  • Examples and fixtures are illustrative.
  • Scoring truth runs on a private reference executor. The public verifier reports scoring as UNVERIFIED rather than claiming a pass it cannot prove.

Boilerplate

SN87, 25 words

SN87 is a Bittensor subnet for Proof of Assurance: independent methods examine evidence of autonomous work, and validators test what they can establish.

SN87, 50 words

SN87 brings Proof of Assurance to Bittensor. As AI agents take on real work, a run can succeed and still be wrong. On SN87, independent methods examine permitted evidence of that work and return an Assurance Differential. Validators test what those methods can establish. SN87 is live on Bittensor testnet, and its code is open source.

SN87, 100 words

AI agents are starting to do real work inside real organisations. A run can succeed and still be wrong. SN87, Proof of Assurance, is an open Bittensor market built around that gap. A work owner permits bounded evidence of a run to be examined. Independent methods compete to find what the run missed and return an Assurance Differential. Validators test what those methods can establish against a defensible source of truth, and the work owner decides what happens next. SN87 is live on Bittensor testnet (subnet 582). Its miner kit, protocol and public verifier are open source under the MIT License.

Provenonce

Provenonce builds infrastructure for governed, evidence-backed autonomous work. SN87, Proof of Assurance, is Provenonce's open Bittensor subnet for evidence-backed assurance of autonomous work. https://provenonce.ai

Partnership line (use exactly)

Provenonce and Bitstarter.ai are partnering on Proof of Assurance (Bittensor Subnet 87).

Key messages and usage guidelines

Three messages

  1. The run succeeded. Was it right? Autonomous work needs assurance, not just completion.
  2. Work in public. SN87 is live on Bittensor testnet, the code is open, and anyone can verify the chain record.
  3. Come build. Mine, validate, bring a hard problem, or try to break it.
